Our key tags operate standard HPM Brand electrical switches for the hospitality industry, to help you conserve energy and reduce electricity costs.
To operate the switch, the key tag is inserted in a front pocket on the switch.
Instead of key rings, use Clench Rings to attach the key when using the key tags in power switches. The advantage of Clench Rings is that guests cannot easily remove the key and leave the tag in the switch, which would otherwise allow the room to use power when unoccupied. The clench rings are made from 2.0mm diameter nickel plated steel and are closed with pliers. 5 cents + GST extra when ordered with key tags. 10 cents + GST as a loose item.
